Trying something new

I am trying something new... I am now officially a contributor to a public blog, Deep South Moms.

My first post is up today. Come on over and tell me what you would do with an extra room in your house, or what I should do with mine.

nice post, I loved it!

I vote for a craft room, I LOVE mine. The great thing is that you can start something and then not clean it up and walkaway locking the door. It's the greatest thing ever. And a raised table for cutting out patterns beats the heck out of doing it on the floor!

I was introduced to your wonderful blog a few weeks ago. Since then I have been reading it to make sure I can learn everything about your family. I just finished and I even kept a list of my top 10, no make it 11 favorite posts. In no particular order they are:

1- You choose. I read this one to my husband a month ago. He is still laughing. We can't not say "you choose" with out breaking into hysterics.

2- I'm watching you. Yep, I am now setup to watch my viewers too, but I am not going to let them know that. But thank you for sharing it, so I could do it too!

3- Grrr---Dr. Idiot. This is another one that my hubby can't quit laughing about. You know how Bill Engval does his "Here's your sign." We have taken that concept and turned it into "You should have someone look at that." It's become a common phrase around our house.

4- Tag for National Adoption Month. See I have a serious side. We are hoping to adopt and so I soak up anything that is adoption related.

5- Walks to the corner. I am so glad you were finally able to make it. And I love the wagon you bought.

6- It ain't always cute. That was just too funny.

7- A Twilight Moment. Good save there and what a sweet moment. I love the book and we just bought the movie last night! I haven't watched it yet, but hubby did last night while I was at homemaking.

8- Too Busy - That was so funny too. Sadly, your little twin terros are not scaring me any. I still want a set of twins, but I would love a boy/girl.

9- A laugh from the past. That one had me laughing so hard. I bet your nerves were on ends!

10- Baby Hunger. I just thought it was cute.

11- I once considered stealing a baby. This is the story that turned me onto your blog. We belong to a group (but I'm in so many I forgot) and someone else in that group mentioned this. Thank you for sharing that story. I loved it.

That sums it up. I have become a big fan of your blog!

The anticipation is always greater than the realization. Someday you will have lots of empty rooms and wish you had children there to mess them up. Maybe you'll be as lucky as I am and have grandchildren close to help you out!
