They cried today

When I took Jack and Aidan to school, they didn't want me to leave. They clung to me. And gave me multiple hugs and kisses. And begged me to stay just 3 more minutes. And then when I left, they had to be held back. And they were crying.

I guess reality is setting in for them too.

Oh, hang in there. In a couple of weeks all of you will be adjusted, and no one will miss "the old days" at all. (At least that's what I tell myself. Adia is starting preschool at the end of the month and I am already wondering what I'm going to do without her. And she will only be gone for three hours, I don't know how you are doing it all day long!)But really from a pre-school teacher's point of view, they really do all do that. They are excited for the first few days to a week, then reality hits, and they miss thier mom, and then in a few more days they get into the routine, and they are fine.

Ditto what Katie said. Both Eric & Mark did awesome the first few days & then fell apart the next few days. Well, Mark was longer, but Jack & Aidan will adjust more quickly!
