Enjoy Benihana!

I promised to give you something fun, and here it is!

Benihana is celebrating Children's Day 2010. To participate, you can download the official form, and have your kids draw, paint, or color a picture of "children helping children", and for each drawing recieved Benihana will donate $1 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In addition, they will choose one entry to win a prize of dinner for 8!

Then, on May 5, if you go to Benihana, they will donate 100% of the purchase price of your Children's meal to St. Jude! 100%! That date is right in between the birthdays of Jack, Aidan, and Kydon, so it sounds like a good excuse to go out for a great meal!

Now for the really fun news- I am GIVING AWAY a $40 gift card! For Benihana! (Just in case you couldn't guess). Right now they are offering Hibachi Steak for two for only $37, so the giftcard could easily cover dinner for two!

To enter the giveaway: Leave a comment telling me something you love about Japan! Or Benihana, or St. Jude! Or Spring, for that matter! Just leave me a comment telling me something and I will enter you in!

To gain one more entry, blog about this giveaway, link to my post, and then leave me a comment with the link to your post! That's it- 2 chances to win! Good luck!

I haven't eaten at Benihana's before. I would love to try their food.
As for Spring, I am ready to open the windows and let the fresh air into our house after having had the windows shut for the winter with the cold and the snow. I love the freshness of Spring.

Oh, Pick me! Jason and I went to Benihana when we were dating...it was the last time we've gone. I'd love to go again! I am excited for Spring! Just wish it felt more like it really as spring here. ;)

I love Japanese rice candy and Japanese fabrics, like Lecien. They have a whole retro thing going on and I wish they were easier to find/purchase (ie: no shipping). And who doesn't like teriyaki? :o)

I think it's fantastic that they are doing so much for St. Jude. That has to be one of my favorite charities.

I love Benihana--great food and entertainment all in one! Supporting St. Jude also puts them high in my esteem, the work St. Jude does is amazing. Caroline once saw a commercial for St. Jude then she started saving money and asking her friends so they could help cure cancer in kids :)

I love me some Benihana, and Todd and I have been wanting to go forever! I love St Jude too - I have even donated to them in the past. So glad to hear that Benihana is doing so much to help contribute to St Jude's cause.

Oh, I love lots of things about Japan, but especially sushi and Bento boxes. I think kids' Bento lunches are just so adorable!

I've never been to Benihana, but I bet it would be awesome.

I am thankful for all that St. Jude does, especially since so many people close to me have been affected by cancer.

I love spring, except the insane allergies that came with it this year.I feel like I'm really appreciating the warm weather this year since we had a pretty cold (for FL) winter. I love Sushi (for Japan) and I've never been to Benihana, but would love to try it.
